A free concert by the Flamenco artist Rene Heredia resulted in this photo. In the original the background is distracting, but smoothing it out and blending him and the dancer into the dark foreground produced a better image.

BLUES SINGER


I worked longer on this photo than any I have ever computer processed. A rain storm had knocked out the stage lights; the tent housing the festival had yellow and grey stripes on the top; I shot the original in black and white and then wished I had color in the shot. But a combination of Photoshop and Studio Artist led me to this image.
